Top 5 Turn-Based Tactics Games on Android in Egypt Q3 2023

The third quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the performance of the top turn-based tactics games on the Android platform in Egypt. This analysis, based on data from Sensor Tower, highlights the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top five games: Bowmasters: Archery Shooting, Tank Stars, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™, Warlings 2: Total Armageddon, and MiniBattle.

Bowmasters: Archery Shooting demonstrated a significant rise in weekly downloads, peaking at around 24.5K in mid-September. The game also saw its active users grow steadily, reaching approximately 107K by the end of the quarter. However, revenue remained modest with occasional peaks, the highest being around $27 in late August.

Tank Stars had a more fluctuating performance. Weekly downloads started at around 7K in late June, dipped to about 3.2K in late July, and then surged to nearly 9.9K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, stabilizing at around 84.8K in the final week. Revenue was minimal, with the highest weekly figure being $19 in early July.

Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus ™ saw a decline in both downloads and active users over the quarter. Downloads decreased from around 4.1K in late June to just 130 by the end of September. Active users also dropped from 3.8K to about 2.2K. Despite these declines, the game maintained a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $117 in mid-August.

Warlings 2: Total Armageddon had a stable but modest performance. Weekly downloads peaked at around 1.1K in early August before falling to 315 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a slight increase, peaking at about 3.4K in early August and then stabilizing around 2.8K. Revenue data was not available.

Finally, MiniBattle experienced a sharp decline in both downloads and active users. Downloads plummeted from about 2.2K in early July to zero by late September. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 1.7K to 416 over the same period. Revenue was minimal, with a peak of $24 in late July.
